Master's Degree:

PhD:
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine, as well as graduates of the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department of Health Faculties or Schools of Health who have completed a master's degree in the Department of Anatomy, may apply. DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE
Clinical Toxicology PhD Program:
Student admission to the proposed program is carried out according to the PhD admission requirements of the Gaziantep University Graduate Education and Training Regulations.
a. Specialists in Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Reanimation, and Medical Pharmacology may apply to the program.
b. In addition, "foreign specialists in Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology and Reanimation, and Medical Pharmacology" may apply for the "foreign student quotas" to be opened.
DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS
Master's Degree:
Graduates of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, School of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Physical Education and Sports affiliated with the Faculty of Education, and School of Sports Sciences and Technology may apply.
Department of Physical Education and Sports Master's Program with Thesis (Evening Education):
Graduates of undergraduate programs of universities in our country or universities abroad whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) may apply for the evening education master's program with thesis. Additionally, to obtain a master's degree, students must meet the conditions specified in the Gaziantep University Graduate Education-Training and Examination Regulations.
To apply for master's programs with a thesis, candidates must have an ALES score of no less than 55 in the relevant score type (numerical, verbal, or equal weight) accepted by the applied graduate program.
PhD Program:
Must be a graduate of undergraduate and master's (with thesis) programs of universities in the field of sports sciences.
DEPARTMENT OF COACHING EDUCATION
Master's Degree:
Must be a graduate of the Faculty of Sports Sciences or School of Physical Education and Sports.

PhD Program:

PhD:
Those who have completed their master's education in the Department of Medical Biochemistry and those who are graduates of the Faculty of Medicine (Medical Doctors) may apply.
DEPARTMENT OF BIOSTATISTICS
Master's Degree:
Graduates of Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Science/Faculty of Arts and Sciences Statistics, Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Sciences, Faculty of Education Mathematics Teaching, Computer Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics Department, Bioengineering Department may apply. Pursuant to the relevant (Article 50) article regarding the principles of student admission to the scientific preparation program of the Gaziantep University Graduate Education-Training and Examination Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 06, 2023 and numbered 32271, graduates from departments other than the Statistics Department must take the courses deemed appropriate by the Department Academic Board within the scope of the scientific preparation program for one (1) semester or two (2) semesters.
DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Master's Degree:
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry may apply.
PhD:
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, and graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry who have graduated from the Medical Pharmacology Department master's program with thesis.

Master's Degree:
Graduates of Pharmacy, Veterinary, Dentistry, Medical Faculties, Faculty of Arts and Sciences Biology Department, Medical Biological Sciences, Faculty of Education Biology Department, School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (4 years), Faculty of Arts and Sciences Psychology and Psychological Counseling, Experimental Psychology departments, and other health-related Faculties and four-year Schools, and graduates of Faculties and Departments deemed appropriate by the Department Academic Board may apply.
PhD:
Those with a master's degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Department of Physiology. Those who have completed a master's degree in one of the departments affiliated with the Graduate School of Health Sciences may apply for the PhD program.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
Master's Degree:
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and health-related Faculties and Schools' Midwifery and Nursing, Health Officer, Nutrition and Dietetics departments may apply to this program.
DEPARTMENT OF NURSING
Surgical Nursing Master's Program with Thesis:
To apply for the master's program, candidates must meet the conditions specified in the YÖK Graduate Education and Training Regulation and Gaziantep University Graduate Education, Training, and Examination Regulation. Graduates of the Nursing Faculty; Health Sciences Faculty and Health School Nursing Department; and Nursing School may apply for the Surgical Nursing Master's Program with Thesis.
All master's programs affiliated with the Department of Nursing:
Graduates of Nursing Faculty, Health Sciences Faculty and Health School Nursing Departments (Internal Medicine Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Child Health and Diseases Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing Master's Programs) may apply to the Nursing Department master's programs.
Nursing PhD Program:
a) For undergraduate graduates: Those who are graduates of the nursing undergraduate program may apply.
b) For master's degree graduates: Those who have completed their master's education in the Department of Nursing or any master's program of the Department of Nursing may apply.
Psychiatric Nursing PhD Program: Those who have graduated from master's programs with a thesis in Psychiatric Nursing, Mental Health and Diseases Nursing, or Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing may apply.
Internal Medicine Nursing PhD Program: Those who have graduated from the "Internal Medicine Nursing" master's program with thesis and those who have graduated from the Nursing Department master's program may apply to the Internal Medicine Nursing PhD program.
DEPARTMENT OF HISTOLOGY AND EMBRYOLOGY
Master's Program:
Graduates of Biology Departments of Faculties of Arts and Sciences and Education, Medical Biological Sciences Department, Medicine, Veterinary, Pharmacy Faculty, Schools of Health (four years), Nursing and Midwifery (four years) may apply.
PhD Program:
Those who have completed a master's degree in the Department of Histology and Embryology, as well as graduates of Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy (5 years), may apply.
It has been decided that graduates from faculties other than the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will be subject to a one (1) year scientific preparation program, and PhD students enrolled in the Scientific Preparation program will take only the courses specified across the boards in the 1st and 2nd Year course boards of the Faculty of Medicine listed below:
1st Year Board 2: Anatomy, Histology and Embryology courses
1st Year Board 3: Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Physiology courses
1st Year Board 4: Anatomy and Physiology courses
1st Year Board 5: Histology and Embryology, Physiology courses

DEPARTMENT OF BIOINFORMATICS AND COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY
Master's Program:
Graduates of Statistics, Mathematics, Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Chemistry, Physics, Physics Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering departments of Faculty of Science/Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Engineering Faculties, Control Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Software Engineering, Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Information Technologies Program, and Faculty of Medicine may apply. PhD Program:
Students to be admitted to the PhD program as undergraduate graduates will be expected to be well-acquainted with computer systems, have algorithm building and programming experience on different platforms. For this reason, only undergraduate graduates of (i) computer and/or software engineering, (ii) information systems and technologies, (iii) information systems engineering, (iv) systems engineering, (v) electrical-electronics engineering, (vi) mathematical computer, (vii) informatics departments, and graduates of (viii) medicine (medical doctor), (ix) dentistry, (x) pharmacy faculties may apply to the proposed PhD program. On the other hand, those who have a master's degree in (i) bioinformatics and computational biology, (ii) bioinformatics, (iii) computational biology and bioinformatics, (iv) bio-informatics and computational biology, (v) information systems, (vi) modeling and simulation, (vii) software management, (viii) computational sciences and engineering, (ix) computer informatics, (x) medical informatics, and candidates who have completed a master's thesis in the fields of (xi) computational chemistry, computational physics, computational biology and have a master's degree may apply to the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology PhD program.

DEPARTMENT OF PERFUSION TECHNIQUES
Master's Program:
a. Graduates of the Perfusion undergraduate department, undergraduate graduates with a Perfusionist Authorization Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health, graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, and graduates of faculties and departments deemed appropriate by the Department Academic Board may apply.
b. Those who have received at least 55 (fifty-five) points or an equivalent score from foreign language exams whose equivalence is accepted by ÖSYM may apply for the perfusion techniques master's program with thesis.
DEPARTMENT OF SIMULATION IN HEALTH SCIENCES
Master's Program:
Being a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and having a four-year nursing undergraduate diploma.
DEPARTMENT OF RESPIRATORY BIOLOGY
Basic Respiratory Biology Master's Program:
Graduates of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Veterinary Faculties; Biology and Genetics department graduates of Arts and Sciences and Education Faculties; Medical Biological Sciences graduates; Physics and Chemistry department graduates of Arts and Sciences Faculty; Physics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering Department graduates of the Engineering Faculty may apply.
Advanced Respiratory Biology and Cancers of Respiratory Organs PhD Program:
Graduates of the Basic Respiratory Biology master's program; graduates of the Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics Department of the Science Faculty who have a master's degree in the relevant field; graduates of Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering of the Engineering Faculty who have a master's degree in the relevant field; those with an undergraduate degree of at least 5 years excluding preparatory classes from Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary and Pharmacy; and those with a master's degree in the Departments of Biophysics and Medical Biochemistry of the Basic Medical Sciences department of the Medical Faculty may apply to the PhD program.
