Completion Requirements for Master's Program with Thesis
The Graduate School Board Decision No. 2016-2017/1, dated November 24, 2016, regarding the "Graduate Program Completion Requirements" is specified below. In our Master's programs with a thesis, students must fulfill at least one of the following three criteria resulting from their thesis work:
- Having presented at least one paper (oral or poster) prepared from the thesis work,
- The completed thesis having been conducted within the scope of a research project,
- A publication prepared from the thesis work having been submitted to a peer-reviewed journal and
having been accepted for evaluation.
Completion Requirements for PhD Program
The Graduate School Board Decision No. 2021/4, dated June 17, 2021, regarding the "PhD Program Completion Requirements" is specified below. These PhD graduation requirements shall apply to students enrolling in the 2021-2022 Fall Semester and thereafter. It is required that at least 1 (one) article derived from the thesis—containing our University's name and with the student as the first author—be published or accepted for publication in journals indexed in the following databases (an acceptance letter is sufficient):

- Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)
- PubMed
- SCI-Expanded
- SSCI
- AHCI
